Greenland is committed to conducting business with honesty and integrity, to treating all people with dignity and respect, and to complying with applicable laws, regulations and treaties.

This statement reflects Greenland’s commitment to acting ethically and with integrity in all its business relationships, and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure that slavery and human trafficking are not taking place anywhere in or around its organisation including its supply chain.

The Organisation

Greenland Group offers property development and operation services. The property business of Greenland Group concentrates on all aspects of development. It aims to be a market leader in the areas of ultra-high rise buildings, large urban complex projects, high speed rail station business districts and industrial park development.

Greenland Group also provides industrial investment, landscaping, coal production, petroleum warehousing, and financial services in China.

Due Diligence

As part of Greenland's efforts to monitor and reduce the risk of slavery and human trafficking, Greenland ensures that:

  • working conditions are safe and hygienic;
  • working hours are not excessive and a fair wage is paid;
  • no forced labour or human trafficking is practised and employment is freely chosen;
  • no child labour is exploited, and no harsh, cruel or degrading practices are allowed;
  • its new recruits are eligible to work in the relevant country of employment; and
  • no discrimination is practised.

Greenland has implemented systems and policies to:

  • establish and assess areas of potential risk in its supply chains;
  • monitor potential risk areas in its business and supply chains;
  • reduce the risk of slavery and human trafficking occurring in its supply chains; and
  • provide adequate protection for whistleblowers.

Adherence to Values and Ethics

Greenland seeks to work with companies who share its principles and who comply with its values. Greenland expects its suppliers to adhere to its standards.  The relationships with its suppliers are based on the principle of fair and honest dealings at all times and in all ways.

Greenland expects its suppliers to extend the same principle of fair and honest dealings to all others with whom they do business, including employees, sub-contractors and other third parties.
