Greenland further grows Ram Quarter line up with flexible workspace provider and leading beauty salon

News 23 August 2022

Greenland UK is bringing new flexible workspace and a luxurious beauty salon to Wandsworth as it further expands the tenant mix at Ram Quarter, its flagship redevelopment of the former Young’s brewery.  Co-working operator HomeWork Workspace and beauty treatment provider iLuvo have both signed leases to open branches at the site across more than 4,200 sq ft.

HomeWork Workspace provides flexible workspace to local businesses and professionals in southwest London.  The business has been growing rapidly in recent years with locations in Putney, Southfields, Fulham and now Wandsworth – with its expansion reflecting the major shift in working patterns following the pandemic.  HomeWork customers can enjoy all the benefits of a fully serviced office space, with the convenience of working near home and a delicious cup of speciality coffee, as well as the wider food and drink line up at Ram Quarter.

Alongside HomeWork, Greenland is also broadening Ram Quarter’s retail and leisure offer with the addition of iLuvo.  iLuvo brings the high-end spa and salon experience to local London communities.  This will be its second branch, adding to its Victoria outlet.  Both iLuvo and HomeWork are set to open their doors in winter 2022.

Taotao Song, CEO of Greenland (UK), said: “HomeWork and iLuvo are the perfect complement to the occupiers we’ve already secured at Ram Quarter, growing its offer for consumers.  iLuvo’s fresh approach to beauty treatments will be another great addition helping to make Ram Quarter the ideal lifestyle destination for people to live, dine, shop, relax and work.  The arrival of flexible workspace in particular is important for Wandsworth as working patterns continue to evolve following the pandemic, and this will further boost the site’s weekday footfall.”

Claire Tucker, CEO and co-founder of HomeWork, said: “Ram Quarter is the perfect match with our emphasis on bringing local, flexible workspace to the high streets of southwest London.  The site's atmosphere and riverside location, right on the high street, makes it an ideal spot for people looking for an affordable, flexible workspace and a community hub in their local area.  Our workspaces offer people the freedom to work however suits them and the environment needed to stay inspired, collaborative, and productive – including a great cup of speciality coffee!”

Lulu Lin, owner and founder of iLuvo, said: “We’re excited to be expanding iLuvo to Wandsworth and across London.  Ram Quarter’s focus on high quality independent brands is a natural fit for us, and we look forward to bringing iLuvo’s expertise in the beauty treatment market to the local community.”

Formerly home to Young’s brewery, Ram Quarter is a flagship retail and leisure destination for southwest London.  Greenland has continued to diversify the development’s offer in recent months.  There is now a vibrant mix of commercial tenants on site including Boom Battle Bar, Mai Thai Deli, Schooner bar, Strike bowling, The Dapper Fox barber, MoreYoga, Sambrook’s brewery, Story Coffee and fine dining restaurant London Stock.

Alongside the commercial space, Greenland has also delivered more than 300 new homes at the multi-award winning Ram Quarter including restored loft apartments within the Grade-II listed brewery buildings.  The site is also home to a Heritage Centre telling the brewing history of Ram Quarter and Wandsworth Town.
