Greenland Group has jumped another 50 places on the Fortune Global 500 list, which orders global companies by revenue, and now ranks at 202.
Founded in Shanghai in 1992, the group first entered the list after just twenty years, in 2012.
This year is the group’s eighth year on the list, and its highest position ever.
The group’s revenues are listed by Fortune Media at US$53 bn, and assets at US$151 bn.
Founded as a property developer, the global group quickly established a reputation for quality and innovation, and now operates in international markets with a portfolio expanded to include sectors such as infrastructure, finance and retail.
The ranking coincides with major milestones for Greenland’s work within the UK. Its first project, the Ram Quarter development in Wandsworth, has in recent months seen the launch of its prestigious heritage apartments – Coopers’ Lofts – and the announcement of an exciting partnership with Sambrook’s brewery to maintain the long history of brewing at the site.
