Residents of Wandsworth looking for convenient, high quality workspace can now come to Ram Quarter, where new coworking site HomeWork has opened at Greenland UK’s award-winning development.
The flexible workspace provider offers facilities to small and growing businesses, with a particular focus on local organisations and supporting the community. It offers a serviced professional environment with the added bonus of on-site speciality tea and coffee crafted by expert baristas.
The business’ roots are in nearby Putney, from where HomeWork has expanded across southwest London, led by founders Claire and Sam Tucker. Ram Quarter is HomeWork’s fourth location, in the development's Bubbling Well Square at the heart of the site’s heritage former brewery buildings.
HomeWork offers ‘work from home’ convenience alongside the facilities of a modern office. This is reflected in its flexible approach to space, with bookings available for as little as 30 minutes - perfect for those who want to vary their lifestyle and working practices or who don't have a regular schedule.
HomeWork joins a wide mix of independent brands at Ram Quarter. Anyone working at the hub or visiting Ram Quarter will be on the doorstep of local favourites including fine dining restaurant London Stock, Story Coffee, Sambrook’s brewery and taproom, Mai Thai deli, Schooner bar, and Strike bowling.
At Ram Quarter, Greenland has delivered more than 300 new homes - including the multi award-winning restored Coopers' Lofts apartments within the Grade-II listed brewery buildings - and rewilded and reopened to the public the section of the river Wandle running through the site, transforming the historic former home of Young’s brewery into a community hub at the heart of Wandsworth.
Taotao Song, CEO of Greenland UK, said: “At Ram Quarter we have always aspired to a diverse and vibrant mix of uses, from stunning new-build and heritage conversion homes, to new and exciting leisure brands and high quality workspace. HomeWork is an inspiring local south London business, which places community and flexibility at its core, and we are delighted to welcome them to the site.”
Claire Tucker, CEO and co-founder of HomeWork, said: “We're very excited to have opened our fourth site in Wandsworth. There’s so much going on at Ram Quarter, which is already home to many exciting businesses, and we're looking forward to becoming a part of the great community here. I can't wait for HomeWork to be immersed in Ram Quarter’s vibrant atmosphere.”
