Greenland Group has announced a major international partnership with Savills to support its Silk Road International Centre project in Xi’an, China.

The landmark project in Fengdong’s Xi’xian New Area is set to include offices, luxury hotels and a major conference centre.  A major centrepiece for the development will be the construction of a 498-metre high tower – mid-west China’s tallest building.

The announcement of the partnership was made at the third China International Import Expo (CIIE) earlier this month as part of more than £430 million of commercial deals between British and Chinese companies.

Now in its third year the Expo, which was held in Shanghai, brought together 120,000 delegates looking to expand and support business between China and the UK and other countries.
