Visa and consular service provider TLScontact has opened a new UK Visa & Citizenship Application Service Point (UKVCAS) at Ram Quarter, helping people across London complete their visa and citizenship applications. The new centre brings further jobs to the site, adding to the many permanent employment opportunities at Ram Quarter across its retail, leisure, and office occupiers.
TLScontact works with governments around the world to provide these important services, operating 340 centres across 91 countries. This will be TLScontact’s second site within Ram Quarter, complementing its existing office space and Visa Application Centre in Ryeland Boulevard, which provides visa services for the governments of France, Belgium, Germany and Switzerland. The new service point is one of 32 new TLScontact centres opening across the country from October, following its appointment by UK Visas & Immigration to provide in-country visa and citizenship application services on behalf of the UK government.
This is one of several recent leasings and openings at Ram Quarter. The development’s hospitality offer has been further enhanced this year by new restaurants and amenities, including Scratch, a new golf simulator which launched in the summer. Puccio Pizza and Korean barbecue restaurant Seoul Sizzle are also both set to open in the coming months.
Taotao Song, CEO of Greenland UK, said: "Ram Quarter’s prime location continues to attract a mix of occupiers, and it’s a sign of TLScontact’s success here that it has decided to expand its operations on the site. Our unique offer at Ram Quarter balances day- and night-time uses, and the employees and visitors at TLScontact will further help to drive daytime footfall, supporting businesses at the site and beyond."
